Terms of Service

The practical rules for using VidaLog as a personal health and self-care organizer.

Effective and last updated: July 20, 2026

These Terms are between you and RENAN PEIXOTO DA SILVA, the operator of VidaLog. By creating an account, you confirm the required choices shown in the app and agree to these Terms. Mandatory consumer rights in your country are not waived.

1. Eligibility and authority

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.
  • You may add a child, adult dependent, pet, or shared profile only when you have authority and a lawful basis to manage and share that information.
  • You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

2. What VidaLog provides

VidaLog organizes medications, skincare, water, mood, measurements, reminders, dependent and pet care, and related history. Features may use local device storage, cloud sync, and notifications. Availability can depend on device permissions, connectivity, subscription status, and supported Android versions.

3. Not medical advice or an emergency service

VidaLog does not diagnose, prescribe, recommend treatment, replace a clinician, monitor emergencies, or guarantee that a reminder will be delivered or acted on. Product names, schedules, targets, reports, and self-regulation content are organizational tools only.

  • Verify medication, dose, interactions, water targets, skincare, and care decisions with an appropriately qualified professional.
  • Do not delay emergency help because of VidaLog. Contact local emergency services when immediate assistance may be needed.

4. Your records and responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information and review it regularly, especially medication names, doses, dates, instructions, and profile ownership.
  • Use the app lawfully and do not upload content you lack permission to use.
  • Maintain device security, notification settings, battery permissions, connectivity, and backups appropriate to your needs.
  • Review changes after sync or profile sharing. Shared users may change records when the permission you grant allows it.

5. Privacy and sensitive information

The Privacy Policy explains processing and is incorporated into these Terms. VidaLog requests explicit consent for the sensitive health and self-care information you choose to add. Optional analytics is separate, off by default, and not a condition of the service.

6. Subscriptions and Google Play

Paid Android subscriptions are offered through Google Play. Current price, billing period, trial or introductory terms, taxes, renewal, cancellation, and refund options are shown by Google Play before purchase and governed by its billing rules, subject to mandatory law.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Google Play before the next billing date.
  • Deleting VidaLog or a VidaLog account does not by itself cancel a Google Play subscription; manage it in Google Play.
  • Feature access may change at the end of a paid period. Existing records are handled according to the in-app downgrade rules and Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

  • Do not interfere with security, reverse engineer where prohibited, scrape, overload, distribute malware, impersonate another person, or access records without authorization.
  • Do not use VidaLog to provide unlawful clinical services, exploit a dependent, harass another user, or violate privacy, intellectual-property, consumer, or health laws.
  • VidaLog may restrict abusive or dangerous use after reasonable assessment and notice where appropriate.

8. Your content and license

You retain ownership of the information and content you add. You grant the operator a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transmit, display, secure, back up, and format that content only as needed to operate, support, protect, and improve the service according to your settings and the Privacy Policy. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for lawful retention and processor backup cycles.

9. VidaLog rights

VidaLog software, design, trademarks, and original materials belong to the operator or licensors. Your limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable license allows use of the supported app and website under these Terms; it does not transfer ownership.

10. Changes, availability, and updates

Features may be corrected, improved, limited, or discontinued. Material changes will receive reasonable notice when practical and legally required. Critical security, compatibility, or legal updates may be required to continue. VidaLog is not promised to be uninterrupted or error-free, but mandatory statutory quality rights remain unaffected.

11. Suspension, termination, and deletion

You may stop using VidaLog and delete the account at any time, subject to Google Play subscription management. The operator may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated breach, fraud, security risk, unlawful conduct, or legal obligation, using proportionate notice and an opportunity to respond where appropriate. Account data is then handled under the Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VidaLog is provided without guarantees beyond those expressly stated and is not responsible for clinical decisions, missed reminders caused by device or network conditions, or unauthorized use outside reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer, data-protection, fraud, intentional misconduct, or personal-injury rights.

13. Governing law and disputes

Brazilian law governs these Terms, without removing mandatory protections of the law where you live. The courts of São Carlos, São Paulo may hear disputes when legally permitted; consumers may use the competent court of their domicile and any mandatory administrative or alternative-resolution channel. Please contact support first so the issue can be reviewed informally.

14. General terms

If one provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed without invalidating the rest. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer the account or these Terms without permission; the operator may transfer the service in a lawful business reorganization with appropriate notice and privacy safeguards. The Privacy Policy and purchase terms shown by Google Play are part of the complete agreement for their subjects.
